e-dalnice.org · EU Vignettes Ltd · In force from: June 2026
Provider
EU Vignettes Ltd
1. General provisions
1.1. These Terms set out the rules for using the e-dalnice.org website and for providing intermediary services in the purchase of electronic motorway vignettes for the Czech Republic.
1.2. The site operator is EU Vignettes Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17138801, Tax ID 95928 28475.
1.3. Use of the site constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
1.4. The site is not a government website or a toll-system operator. The user may buy the e-vignette directly in the official system (edalnice.gov.cz for the Czech Republic). The site offers a paid intermediary service consisting of the purchase and registration of the e-vignette in the name and on behalf of the user, based on their order.
1.5. These Terms are made available free of charge before the contract is concluded and may be saved by the user.
2. Definitions
- User — a person using the site,
- Consumer — a natural person making a purchase not connected with their trade, business, craft or profession (as defined by the Consumer Rights Act 2015),
- Service — intermediation in the purchase of an e-vignette,
- E-vignette — an electronic road toll assigned to a vehicle,
- Official system — the state-operated toll system (edalnice.gov.cz),
- Order handling — the part of the total price due to the company for performing the service,
- Total price — the road toll payable to SFDI plus order handling.
3. Nature of the service
3.1. The company provides an intermediary service consisting of the purchase and registration of the e-vignette in the name and on behalf of the user, based on their order.
3.2. The total price consists of the road toll payable to SFDI and order handling (order processing, translation of interfaces, payment processing, customer support). Both items are shown separately in the order summary before payment.
3.3. The e-vignette has the same legal validity as one purchased directly in the official system.
3.4. Prices may be shown in the currency of the vignette country (CZK) and are converted indicatively into euro (EUR). The final amount is displayed before payment.
3.5. The total price may be higher than the road toll in the official system, because it also includes order handling.
3.6. The user confirms that they are using an intermediary service provided by the company and that the total price includes order handling.
4. Placing orders
4.1. The user must provide correct data, in particular:
- the vehicle registration number (licence plate),
- the country of vehicle registration,
- the vignette validity period,
- the start of validity of the vignette,
- the email address.
4.2. The user bears full responsibility for the accuracy of the data. 4.3. Incorrect data may render the e-vignette invalid and may not be correctable after registration. 4.4. After payment, changes may be impossible due to immediate registration in the official system. 4.5. The contract is concluded at the moment of payment.
5. Payments
5.1. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. BLIK payments are processed by PayU S.A. (Poznań, Poland).
5.2. Available payment methods: Visa / Mastercard, Apple Pay / Google Pay.
5.3. Card data is not stored by the company and is processed directly by the payment operator under the PCI-DSS standard.
5.4. Payment is collected immediately after the order is placed.
5.5. The user receives an electronic purchase confirmation at the email address provided.
5.6. In the event of an unauthorised chargeback, the company is entitled to provide the payment operator with evidence of performance, including confirmation of the e-vignette registration in the official system.
6. Service fulfilment
6.1. The user receives confirmation that the order has been accepted immediately after payment. The e-vignette is registered in the official system promptly after payment, and the registration confirmation is sent to the email address provided, usually within 2–3 minutes of payment. The official system accepts registration no earlier than 30 days before the start date — for a later start date, the e-vignette is registered automatically about 30 days before that date and the registration confirmation is sent then. The e-vignette is valid from the chosen start date.
6.2. The user receives an email confirmation with the vignette details: registration number, country, validity period and start date of validity.
6.3. The e-vignette works in automatic enforcement systems (ANPR) — no printing or showing of a document is required.
6.4. The company is not liable for delays resulting from temporary technical issues of official state systems.
6.5. Where the official system requires email confirmation or account verification, the company may use its own email address solely for the technical fulfilment of the order. This does not affect the validity of the e-vignette or the rights of the user. The confirmation is always forwarded to the email address provided when ordering.
7. Right of withdrawal
7.1. As a distance service contract, the user has a 14-day right of withdrawal from the conclusion of the contract, under Regulation 29 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (UK) and Article 9 of EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
7.2. How the service is performed depends on the vignette start date, so at checkout the user makes one of two declarations. Where the e-vignette is registered within the 14-day period, the user expressly requests immediate performance and acknowledges that, upon registration of the e-vignette, they lose the right of withdrawal (Regulation 36(2) of those Regulations (UK) / Article 16(a) of Directive 2011/83/EU).
7.3. Where the e-vignette is registered after the 14-day period — because the start date is far enough ahead that the order is held — the user retains the full 14-day right of withdrawal; until the e-vignette is registered, the order may be cancelled with a full refund.
7.4. If the user requested immediate performance and withdraws before the service is fully performed, they are charged in proportion to what has already been provided (Article 14(3) of Directive 2011/83/EU); in practice, before registration of the e-vignette the refund is full, and after registration the road toll is non-refundable.
7.5. To cancel or withdraw — contact info@e-dalnice.org.
7.6. Once the service has been fully performed (the e-vignette registered), the right of withdrawal expires.
8. Complaints
8.1. Complaints should be submitted to info@e-dalnice.org.
8.2. A complaint should include the email address used when ordering and the vehicle registration number.
8.3. The deadline for handling complaints is 14 working days from receipt. The user is notified of the outcome by email.
8.4. Complaints are not accepted where the error resulted from incorrect data provided by the user.
8.5. EU consumers may use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
9. Data protection (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)
9.1. The data controller is EU Vignettes Ltd, 4 Norbreck Gardens, London, NW10 7HS, United Kingdom. Contact: info@e-dalnice.org.

12. Liability
12.1. The company is not liable for:

- fines resulting from driving without a valid vignette where the user did not verify the confirmation,
- changes to road regulations or prices after the order is placed,
- failures and technical interruptions of official state systems,
- damage resulting from force majeure.
12.2. The total liability of the company is limited to the amount paid for the order concerned. 12.3. The company exercises due care based on the data provided by the user, but is not liable for decisions of the enforcement authorities of any country. 12.4. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015).
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
13.1. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
13.2. All disputes are settled by the courts of England and Wales.

14.3. Orders placed before changes take effect are fulfilled on the terms in force on the order date.
